This is such a lovely bakery, so much so, it's my favorite German bakery outside of Germany. I ordered a Bienenstitsch cake for my Mom for her birthday. It was beautiful and delicious. I have ordered many sandwiches from them over the years and I can truly say that everything is made fresh daily. Also, the ambience is so nice here. A truly lovely place.
I had the Kaese Spaetzle with a House Salad and LOVED it. They added bacon for me and brought bread for the table which made for a fantastic lunch. I also tried one of their jelly donuts which was better than anything I've gotten in a long time. Plenty of seating with very friendly staff. I would highly recommend checking this place out!
This place is the real deal. So good. My husband had the liverwurst sandwich and devoured it. I had the schnitzel sandwich. Delicious! It was fresh and the schnitzel was the perfect thickness for a sandwich. The mustard they use on the sandwiches was sooo good. They even sell it by the jar there. They had plenty of assorted pastries to choose from for dessert or to go. We certainly bought some to go. They were just as yummy as lunch. Can’t wait to visit again.
If youre missing Germany/Bavaria then definitely visit. If youre open to different foods then definitely visit. We had the continental breakfast that we miss so much and it not only filled our soul but was delicious. German brot is just superior. Great little bakery and cafe. I wish it was near home.
As someone originally from Austria, one of the things I’ve missed the most is real, authentic “Schwarzbrot”—that hearty, crusty European bread you just can’t find in most American bakeries. I’m SO glad I finally found Edelweiss European Bakery! This place is an absolute gem. The country bread, pretzels, rolls—literally everything is delicious and tastes just like home. You can tell it’s made with love and tradition. If you’re looking for true European-style bread and baked goods in Fort Lauderdale, this is the place to go. Cute little place with real German food. I wanted best sausages and very cold beer. I got it in a hot summer day. That was a gem of my day and they brought food fast and owner was super friendly. By the way, they speak russian and bake bread. Can’t believe I finished it all! Great sauerkraut. But it was tasty and I was so hungry after home inspection. They deliver bread and they service German events and parties. I’m so happy now we’ll fed can run to my next showing! Thank you.
